Woman

Are you my Mary, are you my Eve
But if you're neither, just get up and leave
I wanted you from the start now its hard to believe
That I no longer want you
Now its Joy that I try to achieve
My world revolved around you
Who was I? Only you knew
Although you came into my life out of the blue
You managed to stay, and stick to me like glue
What was I doing? I had no clue
Day by day, my love for you, grew
Beauty and Pain, Nothing to gain
Only thunder and rain
I guess, I just missed the train
A simple spark that turned into a flame
Do you remember my name?
Are all of them the same?
Am I just a game? What a shame.
Woman. The human definition of blessing
The human definition of curse
Woman. The only thing that will pull you forward
Then make you go in reverse
You, the one that made me, write this verse.
