If her eyes beamed
Like solitaire,
Scintillating with ambition and
Expectancy
If she was secure enough
To discard mental carnage
She was witness to,
Someone could learn to love her.

Love.
Noun.
An intense feeling of deep affection.
Perhaps,
Someone would learn
To love her
For her blemishes
And the vermillion hues
Permanently instilled on her glassy eyes
From sleepless nights
Where pellucid tears
Shed her golden skin
That carried the weight
Of trauma she underwent.
If.
Conjunction.
Despite the possibility that; no matter whether
