words

When I woke up for dinner,
I realized that the moon was thinner.
My mom told me it was waning,
I found this word entertaining.
I asked her what zany words she knew,
she said ensue, eschew, accrue, and achoo.
I told her to tell me more,
she said, encore, ignore, error, and explore.
I thought of all the words she said,
I think I'll just go back to bed.
