World Of Light

The World is raining sunlight,
And it seeps into my skin,

It flows through the grass,
It gathers in shimmering puddles,

Rivers of light roar into the distance,
Flowers shine in the night,

Drops of sunlight drip from leaves overhead,
Animals come to drink from pools of light,

I am entranced by it all,
Can night truly exist here?

The light shines from my skin,
And I watch it drip from my fingers,

It shines through the grass,
Setting the world ablaze in a wondrous glow.
