Worthy Pursuit

When you've
Beheld every handsome face,
Explored every beautiful mind,
Navigated the artistic soul,
Laughed with the goofball,
Fished in witty waters
You know and can say confidently
The heart is far more mysterious than you thought.
And you shall never
Quite know it
For yourself.
Smile when you remember.
Cry in gratefulness.
Revel in the depth of it.
And know that all things mysterious,
Uncovering all those secrets, are worthy pursuits.
It is the pleasure of kings to pursue them.
Pursue, beloved!
Make every effort to understand.
For the journey was made for pursuits such as these,
And you are not alone.
