Would You Cry for Me

I sometimes feel so alone and lost
Realizing forever what mistakes may cost
Waking up to a hectic day.Rushing about no time to play
Do you miss me when I'm not there.Does it matter or do you even care
Sadness seems to rule my heart.Lost forever spinning apart
Darkness creeps silently into the room
No sign of light no flowers to bloom
Waiting hopelessly for the end
Is there no cure for a heart to mend
Gathering my strength I face the day
A shard of light just a small ray
Each step I take the pain subsides
Is this how it feels when something dies
Tears filling my eyes falling down my face
My pulse quickens my heart starts to race
Hope it seems is all but lost
A broken heart such a terrible cost
A silver lining one day I hope to see
Still I wonder do you cry for me
As I rise and walk this road
Regret and fear a heavy load
Look for me one day perhaps I'll smile
God knows it's been such awhile
Mended hearts I know don't last
But lessons learned from the past
I walk this road a lonely soul
The ferry man waits for me to pay my toll
