Writing Sickness

Trying to quiet the noise
not of voices
but experiences
Living in my head
wanting to out in the world
so there is no sleep
Adrenaline fueling imagination
so I cannot eat
Sensing the weight easing
off my shoulders
Chills on my arms
Thousands or words swarm
my mind
Keys won't stop clicking
until words I find
To express and engage
A memory find the commonality
relating you to me
as soon as it is out
A moment of mental serenity
Breathe.
These moments
I choose to savor
Compulsively at any moment
Another will want onto paper
