Yes I’m The Poetry

I stay in every women
They suppress me within them
And never speak me out loud
Scared of the society and the patriarchy
I'm the voice of the many unheard
Emotions , they carry
I'm the words that they can't utter
They keep me hidden
Behind their tears and fake smiles
And finally when the night comes
They scribble me on the blank sheets
Yes I'm the poetry
Through which they lament
Their grief.
