You.

You.

It all feels suffocating, your eyes on me in this room,
I hate everything my dear, including you
Don’t look so surprised you knew it was only a matter of time
It feels like too much, being around you
Remember when we so in love, well I do
Did you cherish every moment we spent together with the way I did
Or did you do the inconsiderate thing and leave me astray
The things I would do, the money I would pay just to make you feel the same
When you left, did you find her better, or is she just as disappointing as I
I'm fully aware I should be happy for you we never would've worked
But at the same time, I think you understand the hurt
So now when you see me in the hall, thank you for not smiling or waving
Because for me, god, that would be too painful.
