You

You came as a baby
So innocent and true
You came as an infant
How no one expected you

You lived as a man
Without sin, without blemish
You taught us, as only you can
How to live from start to finish

You died as our sacrifice
Even as our hearts were turned against you
You died so you could pay the price
And were obedient to do what you had to

You rose on the third day
And overcame sin and death
You rose so you could make a way
So we could have eternal breath
