You Can Go

You
Were everything
That I didn't know I wanted
And absolutely nothing that I
Needed.
You were the hurricane
The tornado, the earthquake, the disaster, the chaos;
And I was more than happy
To let you
Overturn
My lazy, little, life.
Yet,
The more that I craved, hungered, desired, yearned
Needed you,
The more you pulled away.
And I've found
That after all this time
I've lost myself
In you.
So you can go.
I no longer need, yearn, desire, hunger, or crave you.
(But I do, I do, I do).
