You Remain Here For A Reason

I saw here there in the hotel room,
arms stretched out above her.
With her lips open in wonder,
such a beautiful girl she was.
She dressed for me that day,
in black laced lingerie.
I was stricken by her foreign taste,
such a beautiful girl she was.
But my eyes fell to her wounded wrist,
as she tried distracting me with a kiss.
The words jumped right out of my mouth,
"You remain here for a reason." Came out.
