You Think This Is Beautiful

In a perfect world, every sunrise
Really would be a new beginning.
Roses would stop and smell us and
Petals would pluck us back.
We would all like our art, and
Kisses would happen to everyone
Every day and
Walls would cry too when we punch them.
Gas stations could be homes and
Every voice would be an entire symphony and
No one would be strangers to city lights or
To the constellations and
I would be able to love you in a way that
Wouldn't hurt you and you would do the same
For me but this isn't a perfect world and I know that
You're perfect and
You're my whole world but
You're not interested in hearing that.
