Your Blue Wrinkled Sheets

Tonight I will love you
As many times as you need,
And melt bad memories
Into your blue wrinkled sheets.
I will not be coy,
I will brace myself
For the moment our skin does meet.
Tossing and turning
Above and beneath
Your electricity,
Pulsing with warm desires
I can almost hear them between your teeth
Whisper to my body,
Overhead, like a bird of prey.
Turning my insides apart,
I would give it away.
One small death presented as a kiss.
Teeth against thigh,
Hands upon hips.
Two strong and tender fingertips
Scaling soft, sweet mountains
Uncovered in the blue light of moon and sea.
Tangled in your blue wrinkled sheets.
One look from you and you will see.
I will take you in my feathers,
And show you how soft and dangerous
The love of a woman can be.
