[your Name Here]

I notice the heaviness in your heart
Even just a hello takes strength to say
Your strength can't keep things from falling apart
That lonely feeling still won't go away

You blame yourself every time things go wrong
The walls that you build turn strength into fear
You shut yourself in; turn on a sad song
You close your eyes and wish you were not here

If you just open your eyes you will see
There are people with sledge hammers ready
When they crash through your walls try not to flee
They are there for you; hold yourself steady

You are worth more than you think to be true
No need to change, hate, or hide. Just be you
