Your Stone Wall

You barely take notice
You know I am there
I'm your stone wall
Just over there
Some build me up
Some tear me down
Some sit next to me on the ground
You don't know me
You don't know my story
I'm not here for fame and glory
On windy days and windy nights
I'll protect you from the wind that bites
It's just a stone wall
It does not fight
To get past me
They must fight
They'll break their blades on my center
For I protect those who are my center
Some won't care
Some will cry
On the day I crumble and die
But for now
Live life without care
For I'm your stone wall
Just over there
