Your Sutter Home

I don't want to need you but I do
No one can do what you do but you
I want you to want to
Come back to your family, mom, please do

I need to accept what I can't change
But allowing myself this feels so strange
How can I watch you be this way
Is there any chance your ways I can SWay?
If there's no chance please know
That wherever you choose to go
I'll be missing the angel I know

I'll give you space for some time
To let you go search and find
Whatever it is in your body & mind
That you feel like you're missing inside

But my angel that's gone
Hidden somewhere within
somewhere beneath the liquid sin
Will find her way out
When she wants to begin
Living and loving her life again

Until then I'll wait day after day
I have no choice anyway
For you to return from so far gone
From the deep depths of your Sutter Home
