Your Words

You write so beautifully,
The inside of your mind
Must be a terrible place,
What pain and frustration have you faced,
For your words to
Sink and swim in such a
Sweet styled grace,
What demons do you
Face on a regular basis?
What memories cause you
To cry and fall into despair,
What lies were you told
For you to bend the truth
When you deem fitting?
One thing is known and that is your
Words bring pages to life,
And bridge parallels between
The Earth and the Sky,
They can make the lonesome
Swoon, and lovers torn
Become filled with scorn,
Your words hold power
And prestige, and feel a
Loving heart with grief,
Your words, chastised and adorned,
Your words
And yours alone
