Yourself

By Lexi

A mere thing.
It sleeps inside you.
You can't see it.
To you it doesn't exist.
Yet there it is.
The other side of you.
The one everyone misses.
Why did you change?
How did it happen?
We loved your old self.
The person who smiled.
Now you're angry.
You always frown.
Can't you come back out?
