Youth

We live a little
Only to die young
Poison ourselves
Bitter liquor on our tongue

Silver veins
Bloodshot eyes
Drowned my senses
Can't see through your lies

This is what it's like
They say
To be young and free
But I try to run far, far away

These demons hidden in red solo cups
I don't want to give in
The devil lurks just inside the needle
But now he's under my skin

I've succumb to youthful sin.
