Look around at nature’s gifts
And feel the summer breeze
Look across a valley
And see what an eagle sees
Now look at you from head to toe
From shoulders to your knees
You are one of nature’s gifts
You’re one of the trees

Have you ever seen a cloud
And said god shaped it wrong
Maybe it was too puffy?
Maybe it was too long?
The cloud just happens of itself
Beautiful like a song

Have you ever seen an ugly wave?
The shape wasn’t quite right?
You thought the curve could be sharper?
The middle was too tight?
The wave happens because it does
It doesnt need a reason
And on and on the waves will come
Changing like the seasons

Don’t think that you are separate
From the world that you can see
There’s no blueprint for your looks
No rubric of humanity
The rules you have are yours to break
Be what you wanna be
Because you exist by lucky chance
A gift. Just like a tree.
