I grew up in a small town in Tennessee, I wrote my first poem after I lost my grandmother at the age of 12. I needed to tell her how much she mint to me, so I told her in a poem I wrote just for her. that's when I knew I could write my feeling in poems much better that I could by speaking verbally. I am 53 years old and I have been married to my soul mate now for 21 years. He has watched me write my poems and put them a way in a box for many years, He has finally convinced me to share them with the rest of the world, I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.
