A Broken Heart...

What is it about heartache that makes it so painful
It's a pain that is so unbearable
It hits you so hard that you gasp for air to breathe
You turn all night on your bed not being able to sleep
You don't have the appetite to even nourish yourself
It seems like the world has stopped
And you can't seem to figure out how to live life
 
The pain kills you inside like a stabbing knife
Your heart bleeds and somehow leaves a mark
However deep that wound may be it will heal in time
One day you'll find yourself loving again
Don't be afraid to love and to let your heart out there again
It is always good to LOVE however painful it may be
 
In time you'll find love again and when you do
Don't hesitate, instead feel free to show it
Find appreciation to every feeling of it
