A toast to marriage
Marriage is more
than a union of lovers
bound in written laws
Marriage is more
than the just being friends
feeling there are no flaws
Marriage is more
than having a child
or saying yes in awe
Marriage is a bond
of the most truest of loves
the most trusted of friends
and an understanding spouse
to have a legal commitment
seems almost ludicrous
if these three relationships exist
but the tradition still remains,
so i wish you luck for a beautiful life
of all your growing experiences;
through all the pains
and all the strains,
and all the gains
knowing your joining
has not been in vain,
may it survive forever.
