Adventurous soul

Unsettled soul,
Beating on the walls of its confines,
Frustrated, looking for an escape,
Suffocated, searching for a medium of release,
A voice urged, "Go go, go out there",
Go see the plains and their rolling streams,
See the jagged mountain peaks and the drifting seas,
See the desert sands and the shifting dunes,
The voice again said....."Verily what ye seek".....,
"What ye seek is not nigh but yonder",
Go out so we can find it,
It patiently awaits as it has for centuries,
This soul harkened to the voice and heaved,
At its boundaries without fail or restraint,
Till these boundaries came crashing down,
And off it sauntered to find the heaven it wanted
