Astral Anomoly
Drowning in darkness and desperation, waking in dreamscapes of desolation...
wandering, wallowing, wasting away,
Musing on ways to settle and stay.
Timelessly tiresome, ever the same.
A fool to think that my soul could be tamed.
Half wild, half crazed, a beast at my core,
Indulging in malice and lusting for more...
Carelessly, clamoring, cresting a ridge,
Finding myself at the foot of a bridge,
Crossing its length, a fog rolling in,
Smothering, covering, cleansing my sin.
The other side holds an unearthly portal,
Never before beholden by mortals.
Deliciously dazed, trapped in a trance,
This may be the answer.....and my only chance....
