Boxed

Boxed in an apartment feeling below par
Boxed in a car you acquired a taste for

Boxed is the college degree you have no use for
Boxed in a job you have no talent for

Boxed in a cubicle staring at a box not far
Boxed are your dreams to become a rock star

Boxed in meeting rooms listening to a czar
Boxed is your mind ever ready to spar

Boxed is the security you traded your peace for
Boxed is the career you had no passion for

Boxed is your identity in the world so far
Boxed remain questions you have no answer for

Boxed you could end up with nothing to show for
Boxed were others too, but none found it bizarre
