Bread Baker
Act II
Scene 1. Enter Baker Bart and Butcher Boris. One
is beating dough, the other behind a
bureau. Bart is baking bread to bring
the customers closer. Butcher Bart is
Bellowing, “Beef here, come over!”
Scene 2. Enter arched back Anna, bending
heavily down. “I wish to have some
bread today, but I only have one crown.”
Scene 3. “I could use another baker one who is
always bending down, how about you
get the bread from the oven, and you
can keep your crown.”
“Yes,” Anna accepted, and boldly
stepped beside him boiling all the while
Soon she burnt her forehead and then
collapsed upon the tile.
End Act II. Exit all backstage.
