Breathe a Hallelujah

Beneath the hush of morning’s golden veil,
I wander fields where dew and mercy meet—
Each blade of grass a psalm, each breeze a prayer,
The hush of heaven trembling at my feet.

My heart, a lantern lit by sacred fire,
Yearns for the hand that shaped the trembling stars;
I trace the gentle echoes of desire
That lead me home, no matter where we are.

O Shepherd, I sing Your name to the dawn,
Let every sparrow’s flight become my hymn;
In every shadow, let Your love be drawn—
A river running full, from brim to brim.

I gather joy like manna in the wild,
And sorrow, too, I cradle in my hands;
For every tear is precious to the Child
Who wept for me, and in my place now stands.

So let me walk this garden, unafraid,
With longing blooming bright as Eden’s rose;
Each breath a hallelujah, softly made—
Each heartbeat Yours, until the story’s close.

    THIS POEM IS SO GOOD! Each stanza is strong and the rhythm and rhyming completely even. I love the imagery and the metaphors. The writing style is fluid and lyrical without being overly complicated. The theme of faith really pulls on the heart, and the vibe of the poem overall is very calming and peaceful. It just draws you in. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!
