Can\'t See Me

Stashed deeply in side where others can't see,
are long ago secrets that define the real me.
I have molded fabrication into a state of perfection,
assuring my acceptance and denying all rejection.

Mastering deception comes at more than a cost.
While forging the authentic the authentic is lost.
The false-self adopts ego and the real is reversed.
Illusion mirrors genuine, like it has been rehearsed.

A real false-self creation is what they all see,
deceived into thinking it's a reflection of me.
Camoflauged in mystery, not unlike a ghost,
my true-self's identity suffers the most.
