Changes
Do you really know the magic
in the sea and in the trees
Do you really believe the changes
that come with the summers breeze?
Do you really want to change?
Do you really want to grow?
Or do you sense it would hurt too much
for truth forces you to know;
To know your own darkness
And how you’ve hurt others too
By holding on to the pain
Of what others have done to you.
So don’t take away the magic
because you’re too afraid to see it
Don’t bring others down
Because you don’t want to believe it.
The more you judge
the more you prove
how little you know.
The more you judge
the more you prove
just how much you need to grow.
You think you know it all,
that you have it all figured out
then why when you’re alone
are you still riddled in self-doubt?
If living in your illusion
makes it easier for you
don’t you dare hold those back
who know they can break through.
Misery loves company
And ignorance is bliss
Don’t let others despair
Seal your fate with a kiss.
in the sea and in the trees
Do you really believe the changes
that come with the summers breeze?
Do you really want to change?
Do you really want to grow?
Or do you sense it would hurt too much
for truth forces you to know;
To know your own darkness
And how you’ve hurt others too
By holding on to the pain
Of what others have done to you.
So don’t take away the magic
because you’re too afraid to see it
Don’t bring others down
Because you don’t want to believe it.
The more you judge
the more you prove
how little you know.
The more you judge
the more you prove
just how much you need to grow.
You think you know it all,
that you have it all figured out
then why when you’re alone
are you still riddled in self-doubt?
If living in your illusion
makes it easier for you
don’t you dare hold those back
who know they can break through.
Misery loves company
And ignorance is bliss
Don’t let others despair
Seal your fate with a kiss.
