Close to new

By Josiah J. Wheatley

Say a prayer for the addicted
Say a prayer for the lost
Say a prayer for you
Say a prayer for me
Say a prayer for us all
Before the world decides to fall...

Because we all deserve a prayer,
Because we all deserve something
Close to new...

Say a prayer for the murderer
Say a prayer for the damned
Say a prayer for you
Say a prayer for me
Say a prayer for us all
Before the world decides to fall...

Because we all deserve a prayer,
Because we all deserve something
Close to new...
