Condemned

I'd always wondered
if the world with which we live in,
understands the pain it inflicts upon us all humans.
I'd always wondered
if the way we judge others by our laws
is the reason why humans are the way they are.
We have problems in our world,
and although we can't make it perfect
we can make it everlasting.
Day by day, we are slowly killing our world
including the inhabitants and our planet.
In our own species,
we kill our brothers and sisters.
Assault, Violence, Murder, Thievery, Illness, Abuse, and Neglect
all consume the minds of our 'Humane' world.
And the result?
Poverty, Death, Suicide, Drugs, Depression, Drop-outs, Injury, and Trauma.
all hover over our lives
waiting.
And the Earth?
It bears the brunt of our sword
with which we have cast a dark shadow
blanketing our beautiful world into darkness.
