Elementary Education

By Alice Newcomb

Enter class and say the pledge
Time for math, cutting-edge
It’s not just eleven plus eleven equals twenty-two
It’s Phys Ed and English grammar too.
Enjoy lunchtime at half of day
Followed by engaging play
Time to engrave your name in Art.
Library enrichment was another part
Elementary Education was the name of the game
Excitement over, tomorrow will be same.
