Exits

Exits, exits
Anywhere is there an exit
I don’t want to do this
She says she’s my friend
I don’t move
But inside I’m frantic
I’m running everywhere hitting the walls
Let me out, is there an exit she says
She the young girl
The young girl that is me
Still stuck looking for an exit
From something that happened so long ago
A rape that took place
For you know you raped my body
But you also raped my mind
You raised me
I loved you
Yet you hurt my body and mind with rape
Now I’m stuck searching for this non-existent exit.

Wow...I can't believe this happened to you. I hope you are in a safe environment now. "But you also raped my mind" very deeply troubling.

This Poems Story

This is about how my step-Grandma who raised me for 10 years sexually abused me and raped me.
