Fantasy star

My lonely window stares out at nothing
in the solemnity of a speechless night,
except for one sole star that i ride upon
drifting off into flight.

Then the night becomes a carnival
with rollercoasters of incredible height,
reaching climaxes of ecstasy
that peak in a piercing light.

My cigarette smoke lingers around me
while intertwining patterns are
accented through a cloudy window.
then a stillness starts
to fill my heart
as those vapors reveal my passion.

That lonely star
now in peaceful slumber, twinkled
as your eyes do when you smile,
and just as fast
the mood seems to shift
as our love reflects for a while.

Then i awoke
peering out my window
into a void and lifeless sky,
with no one to love
except that fantasy star,
which i no longer wish to ride.

This Poems Story

Dreaming of love, fantasising about love, tired of doing that, i want a real love.
