FORGETFULNESS

Printed upon it are the words in God we trust I am hoping its Jehovah
Your trust is well placed when you serve the Almighty God of heaven and earth
Think about his mercy towards his creation he gives it not in moderation
What wonderous gifts he has provided to all like the people of his migrations
Come listen one and all to the truth that lies before us yes its salvation time

In days of old when our fathers serve his holiness and receive the blessings
Showers of blessings we receive and we got fat with unforgetfulness
Open your eyes look around you and marvel at the things of Jehovah one God
If not for his mighty hands to curb the waters the sea would cover the land
And the wind would drift us here and there until we turn out to be dust
Yes stopping the rain in due season no showers there would be no feasting

The trees its life supporting energy would cease to grow becoming a wasteland
The sun would scotch our bodies and burn into our souls until we are roasted
Darkness would reign supreme over the land the light of day would perish
We would have no control over the creatures of the earth to cherish
Yes friends In God we trust says the dollar bill but do we believe this
If not for the mighty hands of Jehovah God to regulate those elements game over
