You want to hear more about the woman in red?
How she’s come to be-
the chaos in her head…

You’ll never know what she sees
You’ll never know what she feels
And just when you think you do
Another layer is peeled...

She didn’t know herself,
So how could you?
Should have waited
Until she broke through….

For now her eyes are not the same,
As the eyes she once possessed-
She no longer senses comfort
When her head is on his chest.

Oh Naive she!
Thinking love could set her free!
Yet all love has done
Is blinded her like rays of sun,

And covered the truth
So she wouldn’t have to see
The dark this world has done,
To keep her from being free.

But now she’s awake!
Sadness is lost
As is joy-
But it was still worth the cost..

So she proclaims:
“Watch me grow
From a root to a flower
To even a tree
Please don’t think

You ever know me..
For just when you think, you’ve figured it out
Another seed bursts
And so I sprout….

For what is life
If we cannot die
And find the truth that holds the lie…..”
So never think you truly know
Unless you never want to grow.

For in the moment of
Our greatest revelation
It can all be ruined
With a naive expectation;

Expectations are dangerous
So let it all be
And let life fill the gaps
To your destiny.

For you are never
Who you think you are
Unless you think
You’re a star

For that my dear
Is what you truly are.
