Happy Father's Day

For this to is a day the Lord has made
To & for those that stand up & meet the grade,
Not just for today, but throughout the entire year
Tackling all obstacles head on without fear,
A fear of failure being a man, at the same time doing everything one can to provide
Not just for self, but for one's family whose shoulders everything rides,
Being a father isn't just about providing, but laying a foundation
Realize a father is the induction of future generations,
To instill leadership & humility along with truth & dedication
To say, "Happy Father's Day," is a way of appreciation,
For what is done on a daily basis for a community, a family, for his seed
The construction of that framework that leads others to succeed,
Being a father is being a teacher to sons of what they are to be
To daughters, of the type of man to seek out, to want a man better than me,
Fathers have to set a standard, live by a constitution
To give his family foresight & then bring it into resolution,
Thanking God for those He placed into my orbit
Respect, values, morals, principals, integrity, 'overstanding', & love, I had to absorb it,
And to those that are in a Father's role making it do what it do
For blessings unto you are your just due!!!
