Haunted Lovers

I see them in every corner
These ghosts of you and me
can you tell me if you do to?
I wonder if they haunt you
We're haunted lovers me and you

I can hear them whisper
They whisper our truth
We know we gave up too soon
Can you hear their haunting tune?
haunted lovers forever doomed

I watch as they dance
I hope that they leave me soon
But I miss having you here with me
Do you think about what used to be
Haunted lovers will never see

I remember the memories they show
The day we met in the winter snow
I stare at the ring alone on the table
Will you ever come back to me
haunted lovers are never free
