Have We Gone Astray
As brisk breezes blow, and seagulls fly
Above open oceans, beneath an endless sky
I stand here frozen and wonder why
It seems so unnoticed to passers by
So many there are, that have run asunder
Seemingly driven by lightning and thunder
They think it wise to pillage and blunder
No thought for this world, and all it's wonder
Gone are the days full of fun and glee
Such a sad existance doesn't have to be
Our past in itself should help us all see
A brighter future is needed by you and me
Above open oceans, beneath an endless sky
I stand here frozen and wonder why
It seems so unnoticed to passers by
So many there are, that have run asunder
Seemingly driven by lightning and thunder
They think it wise to pillage and blunder
No thought for this world, and all it's wonder
Gone are the days full of fun and glee
Such a sad existance doesn't have to be
Our past in itself should help us all see
A brighter future is needed by you and me

Just looking around me and seeing how distant we are from eachother.
