Him
As I look into his eyes I see it,I see my whole future.
I can’t get my hopes up though,
Won’t he just leave?
Yes he holds my heart,
But do I hold his?
When he smiles at me,
I know he's the one,
But am I his?
Does he love me,
as much as I love him?
Of course he does,
He said so himself did he lie?
Am I his one and only’
As he’s mine?
Or is there another,
Waiting for him to kick me to the curb
Why do I doubt him so much,
Is it because of the others?
The ones who left me heart broken,
And shattered?
Or is it because,
I know he could do better?
Will he be my one and only,
Only time will tell.
