Holding hands
Our hands fit perfectly in each others
as we hold them gently by our sides
a slight sway from our dangling arms
keeping tempo with each strolling glide
holding each others attention
no words needed
as we waft amongst colorful trees
hearing the love we have for each other
gently whispering in the breeze
we look deeply into each others eyes
knowing what emotion persists
that everlasting perceptive feeling
an embracing love we can’t resist
along with a tender ardent kiss.
as we hold them gently by our sides
a slight sway from our dangling arms
keeping tempo with each strolling glide
holding each others attention
no words needed
as we waft amongst colorful trees
hearing the love we have for each other
gently whispering in the breeze
we look deeply into each others eyes
knowing what emotion persists
that everlasting perceptive feeling
an embracing love we can’t resist
along with a tender ardent kiss.
