Homosexuality

God sent us to spread love,
we changed it to lust.
He sent us to spread humanity,
we changed it to norms that were deadly.

He gifted us a vision,
and we used it for devastation.
He taught us simple maths
addition and multiplication,
and we changed it to
subtraction and division.

He taught us that all are same
and we fools thought that we must make some change.
He sent us with roses,
and we changed them into guns that were loaded.

He was tired of our mistakes but still had a hope,
that someday they will regain the love that will tie them in one rope.
He was broken inside but he never uttered a single word,
waiting for mankind to realize it's true worth.

Late we were to understand what he wanted,
The children who did were always mocked, neglected , insulted and taunted.
Homosexuality and being a transgender was never a crime,
But it took me a decade to understand the people who were already mine.

We are enslaved by our mind that they don't belong with us,
Well yea that's true because there worth is above us.
The meaning of love is defined by them,
Hard to forget you will fall instantly for them.

God never taught us to discriminate,
It's a crime to call someone illegitimate.
Open your heart and open your mind,
God is standing at your door to see if you are fine.
