How beautiful love is!

I teach my girls,
perhaps the most precise reason
why you will break,
is not because
you will not be loved.
Or your love will not be returned.

But because
you will have no idea
how big love is,
how eternal love is,
how limitless love is,
how powerful love is;
How the house of love
has so many
thousands
millions
billions
and billions
and billions
of doors to enter.

How love has no end,
just full of beginnings!
How love is found
right, where you wish to find it!
How love is
not what leaves.
But what is still undiscovered,
and unseen,
and unknown.

That for every goodbye,
love has a hundred better...
