Hurdles of Life
Hurdles of life meet us on our way
Though unsolicited they often are
They seem to change our direction
Like a parent rearing a child
While oblivious to our cries
They envelop us like a cloud
With inevitable changes in direction
And open our eyes to unfolding scenes
Each scene comprising a new page
Of the book of journey of life
Enriching the period of time spent
Been confined to a lonely march
Through a concatenation of diverse scenes
Which we could have never foreseen
Though the engineer of hurdles
Aims to turn us Sui Generis
Though unsolicited they often are
They seem to change our direction
Like a parent rearing a child
While oblivious to our cries
They envelop us like a cloud
With inevitable changes in direction
And open our eyes to unfolding scenes
Each scene comprising a new page
Of the book of journey of life
Enriching the period of time spent
Been confined to a lonely march
Through a concatenation of diverse scenes
Which we could have never foreseen
Though the engineer of hurdles
Aims to turn us Sui Generis
