I walk around with a fake smile upon my face
Take a breath of air in my lungs

The distant sound of the faint
Beating in my heart
Wondering if all the hurt the pain
Will ever end

The love I felt
The love I gave
To everyone around me to just not
Receive the same

I don't even think God can fix
The deadness in my heart
Losing you my love not seeing
You or your face has made my heart
To die inside

Peace I may have and that's for sure from God
Love I can give
But I cannot give it to myself
