I love you, when i\'m loving

It’s my birthday today
and somehow i feel
that the very heat of Debbi
is as warm as a mid summers day.

her big brown eyes
like lullabies
sings a song of spring,
the color of fall
makes me recall
the happiness she brings.
then the cool winter’s breeze
whispered through naked trees
telling me today, she loves me.

when we talk she says
“i love you”
her eyes seem to say the same,
but for some odd reason
i’m not quite sure,
she doesn’t say them
when we’re loving.

i’ll show you mine
after you show me yours
is the way i’ll play now,
until i know for sure.
then there will be
such loving in me,
something she could never ignore.

This Poems Story

Sometimes, just the words aren\'t enough. Actions speak louder than words. Don\'t just tell someone you love them....show them how much you love them.
