I.XXII.MMXIX
Met a boy in what seems like a sweven.
His hair of luscious burnt umber,
Thine eyes - shades of sienna brown.
Aching heart left encumbered -
And craving a taste of this heaven.
Mine ears yearn to hear your voice -
Speak to me as thou list.
Everblooming curiosity -Teach me about thyself.
On the morrow, let’s meet at a moonlit tryst,
Steal a kiss and let hearts rejoice.
His spell - I am under the thumb of,
But alas, under my spell? He is not.
My leman, he will ne’er be.
Heart can’t find the affection it sought -
Cannot bear this unrequited love.
