I\'m Here, But You\'re Gone
I don't sleep.
I stay up crying every single night.
Every.
Single.
Night.
You're not here to tell me to get some sleep.
And you're the reason I'm crying.
I don't eat.
I've lost more weight.
It's scaring me this time.
You're not here to tell me I need to eat.
And you're the reason I don't really want to.
I don't talk to anyone.
I get home from work, sit alone for hours.
And you're the one I want to talk to.
You're not here to drag me out the house.
I'm a mess.
I'm falling apart.
I'm so lonely.
I need you.
I need you to pick up the pieces,
Put me back together and be my best friend.
But you're nowhere to be found. You're just gone.
